Do you know dog sledding? I didn’t know that. I think that it is not well-known in Japan. However, Dog sledding is a popular spot in parts of the United States and Canada. Even high school students take part in this the contest. It is difficult to take part in the contest for the general people, because the contest takes place in the state of Oregon, which is in the Cascade Mountains. There is so cold. It could not imagine how is there cold, when I found the information about site. I live in Japan, and Kumamoto is particularly a temperate climate. Therefore, if I take part in the contest, I can’t bear the cold of the winter there. Anyway, I would like to watch the contest someday.

There is a nice cameraman, and his name is Mike. He couldn’t good work lately. Therefore, his boss, Mr. Frank, is angry with him. He thinks that I am a good cameraman, so he would like to argue against Mr. Frank’s opinion. However, he couldn’t be angry with him because he needs his job. ‘This is your last chance’, says Mr. Frank to Mike. Mike goes to Hawaii to take good film of volcano. It is very dangerous work to him, but he make up his mind to go coverage of it. Finally, he learns that some things are more important than his job, or his camera through the coverage. If tomorrow was the last day of the earth, I would spend a day with my family. I have to lead full life.

BR 2-16: The Old Women Who Lived In A Shoe

It is a very funny and interesting story. When I read the book first time, I think why the old woman had so many children? However, I found that I must not have a question when I read fairy stories. I recommend the scene that the old woman meets a huge giant. When she met a huge giant, he needed the help. She was a very kind woman, so she helped him. The giant gave her to his shoes as a token of his gratitude. She was so pleased that she could get new shoes, because she was in trouble what she didn’t have a quiet place in her house. Finally, she and her children live happily. I would like to read this book when I depressed mind.

Essay02-03b: My University Life

There are a lot of great universities in the world now, and they have characteristic school. I think that universities will be more fantastic 25 years after. I will tell you about the present and about 25 years from now university life.

First, I will explain about the present my university life. I am a sophomore of Kumamoto Gakuen University. My school is called Britain and American. I am majoring in English there, and I have a lot of classes. There are compulsory subjects and cultural studies. The former are writing, listening, speaking and reading. The latter are introduction of linguistics, biology, law, Korean, politics and anthropology. Therefore, I have many assignments every week. When I do my assignment, I often use PC because of the renewal of my blog and some reports. At first, I didn’t adapt myself to use PC, particularly Mac. However, I have gradually adapted to use it of late.

Second, I will tell you about my recess. I usually eat a lunch at bakery or talk with my friends, and this time relaxes me. Without these times I often go library, and I study something or watch DVD. One of the appeal points of the university is what there has recess. When I was a high school student, I had my classroom. However, there are not own classroom at university. In other words, I could spend on my recess freely. It is wonderful thing for me. I have a lot of nice friends. They are very precious to me. I would like to keep in touch with them after graduation.
Third, as other activities, I do tutor of overseas students. It is difficult for me that I teach Japanese to them, but it is a challenging activity for me. In addition, I have corresponded with my Korean fiends for a long time. It is very fun, because I can learn Korean languages and culture. I would like to treasure these connections with them.

Next, I will tell you about university life about 25 years after from now. I think that cutting-edges will be innovated in the class. For example, it can laboratory to space and there are monitors on each of desks. Ideally there are amusement centers in the university like a movie theater, sport plants and aquarium. If it will be realized, all students would like to go school. In spring or summer vacations, there are two tour plans. First trip is to tour to the World Heritage Site. There are 911 World Heritage Sites now. There is beautiful nature or buildings and it may give us the power. It is important things to find histories that are background of World Heritage Site. The other plan is eco tour. Recently, environmental destruction is important problem, so we need opportunity to think about ecology. These two plans are clean ideas about how to use our long vacation.

I wonder that so many people likes library. It is wonderful things. I like all my classes, but it may be an improper expression, I particularly like listening class. I like my University, but if I have a child, I don’t enter my child here, because my child has to make a decision what I go in person. I want to improve in my English skills, so I began to tutor.

Finally, I am looking forward to realizing my idea of the future. Anyway, I wish the students could lead a good school life more comfortably from now. I think that I may learn a lot of important things through my university life. It will never forget that in my life. When my child goes university, I compare now with 25 years after. I think that the university is more interesting and convenient. I have some ideal university life, but I satisfy my university life now.

I will tell you about Dubai. I think that Dubai is dreamland, because there is possibility that there will more develop a sightseeing business. Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. It is located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula. There has the largest population with the second-largest land territory by area of all the emirates, after Abu Dhabi. However, there was Dubai shock. Because of this event, the Dubai’s economic growth stopped. Though economy is slackening in growth, Dubai’s gross domestic gross domestic product as of 2008 was $ 82.11 billion. Dubai7s economy has built on the back of the oil industry. Now, there gain publicity as beautiful night view town. I would like to go Dubai someday.

Do you have a pet? I will tell you about once a scared cat. His name is Stanley. He lived in a big town, and everyone called him Scaredy Cat since he was scared of everything. For example, planes, trains, boys, noise, heights, kites, frogs and dogs. He was the biggest scaredy cat in town. One night, he went for a walk with his friends. His friends found a mouse, and they chased it into a house. There was no one in the house. Stanley thought that there really is a monster in the lounge, and the monster came closer still. Stanley struggled to run. Finally, he caught a burglar. After that, he wasn’t afraid of anything. Stanley was happy cat.

I have learned the piano for ten years. When I was five years old, I started to go a piano lesson. First, I didn’t like to go a lesson. However, I gradually like to play the piano, because the songs increased that I could play. I particularly like Beatles’ songs, so I often play”Let It Be” at the concert of my school. In addition, I was a accompanist of school song at primary school. When I was fifteen years, I finished learning the piano because of examination for a senior high school. While my examination term, I always listened to classical music before I go to bed. My favorite performer is Chie Ayado who is the jassman with piano. Her music is very excited for me. I went to her concert two years ago. I was greatly touched by her performance. I would like to go that again.

I often buy a lottery, but I always buy a sheet. I just try my fortune. If I win the lottery, I may happy. However, I wouldn’t like to win a large mount of money, because it spoils my life. Though we cannot help buying a lottery, since we want to have entertainment in our daily life. A man who is main character wins the lottery, but he was robbed his lottery by robber. Then he was pushed over by robber, and he lost his memory. He has a dream that he becomes a singer, but he couldn’t be a singer because of poverty. After he lost his memory, he could co-star with famous singer. His life changed!! I don’t know which did he happy, but I think that what he was robbed lottery was turning point in his life.

The earth is called a miraculous planet, because there are water and air. Therefore, we can live in the earth. In addition, the ozone layer also protects us from the ultraviolet rays. The ultraviolet rays can be cause of skin cancer, and it is a matter of life and death. If the ozone layer breaks up, we may not live. However, it is gradually becoming breaks up, because of the Freon. We should protect the ozone layer, but it is difficult thing. We have to awake to change of our environment. I would like to do my best for the earth. I believe that environment is better than now in the future.

Actually, it is difficult thing that you instruct someone to call an ambulance, for example. However, after few minutes, a woman came and she instructed each people to treatment. Therefore, he recovered from his illness, and then three people admired each other. It is a great to act of kindness.

One day, he suddenly lost his memory even his wife. He goes back to the drawing board his life as another person. It is so mysterious story, but some people want to start afresh their life. We should not lose control ourselves.

Do you have brother or sister? I have two older sisters, and I am friendly with them. However, when I read a book, I was displeased with the content, because younger sister deprived an older sister of her boyfriend. When do you laugh? When you talk with your friend or watch the fanny TV program? Maybe there are many kinds of laughter in the world. This book was written that history, kinds and disposition of human about laughter.

From the far past, we have been laughed when we want to forget pain or sadness. Laughter are said to be started before we begin to speak language. People laugh when they encounter humors.

There really is a lot more humor around now than in the past. There are three kinds of humor, and these are physical humor, humor we can see and the humor of words. We can practice to show humor on April fool’s Day on our friend or family, so let’s try it next April 1.
