BR1-10: The Antarctic Treaty

First of all, I will tell you about Antarctica where is the fifth-largest continent on Earth. It is also the coldest, windiest, driest and highest continent. It is an ice-covered place where no large plants grow, and no land mammals, reptiles or amphibians live. Antarctica does not belong to one country, and it has no government. People visit Antarctica-usually as tourists, or to do scientific reseach-but no one lives these all the time.

Next, I will talk about treaty. As so many nations had made a claim to territory in Antrarctica, it was clear that figfting might break out. Diplomats from different countries wanted to stop a war from starting, so they began talking about a treaty for Antarctica. A treaty is a written agreement signed by two or more nations. In 1959, 12 nations signed the Antarcticic Treaty. The nations were Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Chile, France, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. The treaty came into force in 1961.

Using computer

I don’t like using computer, because it is so complicated system and difficult. I increased the time that I use computer since I entered a university. For example, write a paper, write a blog and operation of computer in writing class, but these operation are not easy to me, so I often get confused about these operation. However, I feel that I am progressing with my computer skills, and then I will try them hard. Contrary to these sides, I also use useful sides of computer, facebook, skype, for example. These can communicate with foreign people, so I often use them.
